The gite-style apartment with self catering facilities comprises a spacious double bedroom together with a shower-room, fitted kitchen/dining area and garden. All rooms are generously sized and wheelchair accessible. We can provide a children's cot and high chair, if necessary (see the for children page).

The bedroom has two velux windows making it light and airy, all the walls are the original stone from the era when it was a hayloft. There are still the original candle recesses and you can see where the room would have originally been lit solely by branches from local pine trees. A fold down sofa bed is also always available in the bedroom to make it into a twin room or to accommodate a child. All bed linen is provided.

The bathroom is fully tiled and the shower is a wet room thus spacious and suitable for wheel chairs. All towels are provided, including beach towels and a travel rug.

The first house in our hamlet of six was built in 1765, whilst ours is at least two hundred years old. Many original features, such as the beams and stonework remain, giving it a lovely rustic feel. All the plumbing and electricity has been fully modernised (although we have still to locate the sceptic tank).

However if you are looking for somewhere a bit more rustic we suggest you try Les Claps on the nearby Caussols Plateau.

The kitchen is fully fitted with oven, rotisserie, fridge and freezer compartment.

The apartment is situated on the third floor of our house. However, as all the houses in our hamlet are built into the hillside, this means that the apartment entrance is at ground level at the back of our house and is therefore completely separate and totally private.

French windows and a velux make the kitchen / dining area nice and light.

The apartment opens directly through French windows onto a terraced garden with its own parking all of which is solely for your use. The garden which the apartment opens out onto faces west giving fantastic sunsets as you sit out in the garden with a glass of wine in the evening. The top terrace faces south and is great for picnics and sunbathing. A table, chairs and sun loungers are provided. You are also very welcome to share the garden at the front of the house with us, and to make use of the barbecue situated there.

The price per night is 50 Euros, this includes cleaning, heating and electricity. Open all year round, you can book for as many or as few nights as you want.
